8-Hydroxydeoxyguanosine, a DNA Adduct Formed by Oxygen Radicals: Its Implications on the Mutagenic adeoxyguanosine residues in DNA is hydroxylated to produce 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OH-dG) in DNA . by various oxygen radical-producing agents (3).
