Change of Forest Cover and Quality,9 million ha between 1990 and 2010, while growing stock decreased from 526 million m. to 330 million m. (nearly 3% annually) during the same time. Considering the size of its territory and forest resources, the DPRK may be the world’s worst country for deforestation and forest degradation.
