An Investigation of Tonic Versus Phasic Firing Behavior of Medial Vestibular Neurons have investigated to what extend the MVNn intrinsic membrane properties, could contribute to their dynamics. Biophysical models of the two categories were examined under ramp, step, sinusoidal and random depolarizing stimulations.
