Application of the Boundary Element Method to Inelastic Fracture Mechanicsing problem is attributed to a lack of similitude, i.e., the damage process in the material ahead of the crack does not scale below a certain crack size. Boundary Element Analysis of MHD Equilibria of Toroidal Plasmas with Free Boundaries, which has been studied by many authors [1,2]. So far we have been studying MHD equilibria fixed boundary problems by using boundary element method (BEM) [3,4]. In this paper, we solve a free boundary problem for a model of a FRC device, and obtain converged solutions with an iteration method.

The Main Conclusion and Prospect,Justifiable approximations of the vorticity distribution in certain high Reynolds number viscous flows are identified. The approximations are utilized to simplify integral representations of viscous flow equations and to develop boundary element procedures previously obtained through the inviscid flow idealization.

Natural Frequencies of Thin Rectangular Orthotropic Plates Using the Edge Function MethodThe Edge Function Method is applied to the free vibration analysis of thin rectangularly orthotropic plates. Fundamental frequencies are obtained for a series of rectangular SCSC plates. A sequence of frequencies is presented for rectangular CSFS plates and computed boundary residuals are less than 0.01%.
