The Bulletin Interviews: Professor H. E. Landsberg,ct of the dissertation he defended for his Ph.D. was seismographic recorders. Through his former tutor, Professor Beno Gutenberg, Landsberg was offered a post involving teaching and research work in geophysics and meteorology at the Pennsylvania State University, and he went to the USA in 1934.
