Calorimetric Studies of Drawn Polyethylene Terephthalate,ransition; at high strain, both chain alignment and uncoiling occur and produce crystallization at these temperatures. At higher temperatures and high strain, the uncoiling is too small to allow crystallization. Annealing a drawn sample under strain resulted in an increase in uncoiling which is proportional to the strain.

Glass Transition Temperature Measurement of Elastomers,his process which appear in the DTA thermogram. This latter objective is attempted by comparison of the DTA data with those from linear expansion measurements. Use of Microcalorimetry for Determination of Order in Polymers, most suitable is the Calvet microcalorimeter, particularly when modified in the manner to be described. Measurement of the Heat of Fusion of Crystalline Polymers by a Calorimetric Melting Point Depressionthalpic base line is drawn. This temperature is generally well above the temperature at which independent measurements of the degree of crystallinity are made, and heat of fusion values obtained via this technique are no more accurate than the percent crystallinity values used in the calculation.
