Optimal spaces for the ,-convolution with the Marcel Riesz kernels and the ,-dimensional Hilbert kern-dimensional extensions of the classical Hilbert transform. We characterize the distribution spaces where the S’-convolution with these kernels exists. We next investigate the S’-convolvability with a single Riesz kernel. In this case, necessary conditions are found which are in accordance with the result obtained in the vector case.
