Theoretical and Mathematical PhysicsExperiments are discussed in an adverse pressure gradient boundary layer, which develops on a flat plate in a windtunnel. The skin friction is measured with a drag balance and velocity profiles are measured with a hot-wire. Extended Self Similarity and Convective Turbulence,We study the scaling behaviour of the correlation functions of the temperature and velocity fields in a Rayleigh-Benard cell at moderately high Rayleigh number.
