Coherent Vortex Simulation of Two- and Three-Dimensional Turbulent Flows Using Orthogonal Waveletsed adaptive basis. In comparison to direct numerical simulation results, we find that the nonlinear dynamics of the flow are well retained with CVS, though most of the modes are discarded.
